Eligibility Criteria for CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment
Educational Qualification
- Head Constable (GD): Must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University (or equivalent Army qualification for Ex-Army personnel).
- Constable (GD): Matriculation (10th pass) or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
Candidates must possess the required educational certificates by the closing date, 11/11/2026.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years of age as on 01/08/2026 (born not earlier than 02/08/2003 and not later than 01/08/2008).
Upper age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- Unreserved: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 8 years (5 + 3)
- SC/ST: 10 years (5 + 5)
- Ex-Servicemen: 8 to 13 years depending on category, after military service deduction
Other Requirements
- Sports Achievements: Valid certificates from recognized international meets, national championships, Inter-University tournaments, SGFI school games, or Khelo India games won or participated in between 30/09/2024 and 30/09/2026.
- Physical Standards: Normal height for male candidates is 170 cms (chest 80 cms unexpanded, 5 cms expansion). For females, normal height is 157 cms. Standard relaxations apply for ST candidates and hill regions as per rules.
- Bond: Selected candidates must sign an undertaking bond of Rs. 1,00,000 to serve CRPF for a minimum of 3 years.
