Indian Overseas Bank LBO Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• The candidate must have the required degree or valid mark sheet when registering.
• The graduation percentage has to be entered in the online application form.
• Candidates must also satisfy the local language requirement for the state selected.

Age Limit

The selection process has the following stages:

• Online Examination
  • The exam has a total of 140 questions.
  • Maximum marks are 200.
  • Total duration is 3 hours.
  • There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  • No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.

• Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
  • LPT is required for shortlisted candidates who have not studied the selected state’s local language in Class 10 or Class 12.
  • Candidates must qualify in the LPT before moving forward.
• Personal Interview
  • The interview carries 100 marks.
  • Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for unreserved candidates and 45% for reserved candidates.
• Final Merit
  • Online Examination and Personal Interview have an 80:20 weightage.
  • The final merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise.
  • Candidates must also meet the required minimum aggregate score.
