Eligibility Criteria for ITBP Head Constable Recruitment
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold either of the following qualifications from a recognized university:
- A degree with Psychology as a subject.
- A degree with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Teaching, or equivalent.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 20 and 25 years of age as on the closing date, 27th October 2026 (born between 28th October 2001 and 27th October 2006).
Upper age relaxation applies as per government guidelines:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- Departmental Candidates: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Service rendered plus 3 years (UR), 6 years (OBC-NCL), or 8 years (SC/ST)
